Cindy Murphy has worked as a college instructor, translator, barista, and for the nonprofit oral history project, StoryCorps. Her first experience with farmers’ markets was in Eugene, Oregon where she worked a stand at the Saturday Market but couldn’t tell the difference between dinosaur kale and mustard greens. Cindy’s favorite vegetables are leeks, but fresh Tennessee morels have been warming her heart the most lately.
